Wow, what a weekend! We have full hearts and warm souls here at the center. There were so many of you that came out to join a class demo, chat with us, offer suggestions, and just share space in a building that has so much history for so many of us.
Where to begin? Gratitude.
Thank you all. Each of us at the center want to extend our gratitude to every single person that braved the cold to visit us, sent us messages, liked and shared our posts on social media, and sent us well wishes in the form of vibes and prayers. We felt it all.
We received a lot of feedback about classes and class times. We have taken this into consideration and are adding evening yoga classes to the lineup. We are lucky to have Shoshana on board to teach our Monday class, and we will be reaching out for additional evening yoga instructors. If you think you, or someone you know, might be a good fit for us, please have them email a resume to HartlandWellnessCenter@gmail.com for consideration.

Hartland, what is your favorite memory of the building? Like me, do you have fond memories of the Harland General Store? I can recall so many, now slightly foggy, memories of everything from the creeks in the floor to the slush puppy machine. If you feel like sharing any of your fond memories please email them to me. We love displaying the history and what better way to do that then with the words of our Hartland (and surrounding community) residents.

Good Afternoon Wellness Enthusiasts!
It seems I always choose snow storms to write to. It must be the mix of the clean snow falling from the sky, or the fact that it opens up time for me to put these fingers on the keyboard!
You’ve been reaching out to us about classes, prices, dates, etc faster than we can reply. This response has been truly amazing! Stacey and I had no idea just how much this center was desired in the community! Our souls are so full! Thank you, genuinely, for each email, question, Facebook comment filling our inboxes!
Let’s start with the schedule. We are still adjusting when classes will be. We keep updating the schedule on GetFitHartland.com but until the open house starting January 4th, these times could change. Our current lineup will provide multiple styles of yoga spread out to various days and time slots, group fitness classes for all fitness levels, and small group programs. Please check out our website and Facebook page for a link to a short survey letting you tell us when you’re most likely to show up for a class!
How To Join:
We’re receiving quite a lot of inquiries about our pre-sale memberships. The passes (detailed in the previous blog post) will be available until the end of the open house. Then we will transition into 6 week programs for all classes. We will be constantly bringing in new classes and styles including some children’s programs! A full listing of prices will be available on our website as soon as they are completed.
The Open House!!!!!
I’m really excited about this! We finally get to throw open the doors and give you all a full visual of our vision! Starting January 4th we will be open from 8am-12pm then again from 4pm-8pm providing FREE demos of classes, massage, and addressing questions you may have. Please pop in and see us. We are excited to interact with this community! This open house will have the same hours on January 5th, 6th, and 7th. At the conclusion, passes will no longer be available.
Starting January 10th all classes will be open for registration. We hope to have a full list through March available for the open house. What classes are you most excited for? Let us know on our Facebook page! I’m personally excited for a PoundFit Master Class, but I might be just a little bias. :)

As the first real snow of the season keeps some of us home, I thought it would be a good time to give this community a healthy update to the Wellness Center.
Let’s start with the space! Construction is well underway within the center. We had originally hoped that everything would be completed by January 8th, but at this point there is a chance we could be delayed at least a week. This means that the official opening date is still unconfirmed. We are hopeful for the 8th, but we may have to wait until the following week to begin classes. We will keep you updated on all channels. If you haven’t already followed the Hartland Wellness Center on Facebook, please do!
This leads us right into memberships. Stacey and I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of you that have already purchased punch cards and unlimited memberships! To those of you that have unlimited memberships, you will receive additional days if the doors don’t open on the 8th! Memberships are still available as follows:
Unlimited Use: A two month commitment for $198 that gives you access to any group fitness and yoga classes except the classes covered under our small group training.
Punch Cards: These cards are available for $100 for either yoga classes or group fitness classes. Each card is good for 10 classes and do not expire. The same exceptions to small group training apply.
Availability: Once we officially open these cards and memberships will no longer be available for purchase as we transition all classes to small group training. You have until January 8th to sign up for these memberships.

We are still working on our class lineup, but you can view the calendar on our website. Please note that this calendar is currently in a state of change and updates often. We have multiple styles of yoga, PoundFit, Pilates, Tabata, and kickboxing all included in the above memberships and punch cards.
There are also two small group training classes available. These programs will fill up quickly, please reach out to secure your spot!
Jazzercise: We are excited to have Denise Zack joining us once a week to teach her class at the center. The class will be $75 for 6 weeks of on Tuesdays at 6pm. Please contact Denise directly at email@example.com for more details!
Gentle Flow Yoga: Samantha Cronin is joining us for a Vinyasa style yoga segment. This is perfect for beginners. This class is $95 for an 8 week series held on Mondays at 10am. To sign up please contact GetFitHartland@gmail.com directly.
Whew! Are you still with me? I still have a couple more updates! We are bringing in personal trainers and massage therapists to the location!
Massage Therapy? Oh yes! We are lucky to have Shoshana Geller and Barbara Bergman joining us to provide massage therapy! Their styles, pricing, and how to book will be listed on our website!
The final update is to provide a little insight to the personal training provided through the center. Stacey, the Center’s fearless leader, will be providing personal training services alongside Mark Mamuszka and Ruthie Silver. Our write up on each of these trainers and how to contact them for a consultation will be available on our website.
That brings us to our Website! We are currently working through a complete overhaul to make the site easy to access and packed with all the information you’ve been asking us about! You can access the site currently (www.getfithartland.com) but you may notice changes happening daily.
I appreciate the patience in getting all of you the information you have been asking us for! All of us at the center are truly grateful for the support and interest we have received so far and we can’t wait to start providing some wellness to Hartland!
